Pre-Requisites
USB Drive Preparation: Save the software file (e.g.,
EPSXXXXXXrev00.bin) directly to the root of the USB stick.Important: Do not save the software file inside a folder on the USB drive.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Controller Preparation
Remove the USB screw cap on the controller to reveal the USB port.
Power ON the controller.
2. USB Connection
Insert the USB stick and wait for the screen to change automatically.
Troubleshooting: If the screen does not change, remove the USB stick, power cycle the controller (turn off and on), and repeat the insertion.
3. Software Selection
The USB Memory screen will appear.
Use the Arrow Keys to move the pointer and select the correct
.binsoftware file.Note: Only one software option may appear depending on what is stored on the drive.
Press 'Enter' to begin the upload or 'ESC' to cancel.
4. Upload Process
Once initiated, the following screens will appear automatically in sequence:
Screen 1: "Boot Loader - Erasing Memory"
Screen 2: "Boot Loader - Programming Flash - Bytes Uploaded"
Screen 3: "Boot Loader - [Hexadecimal Address] - Bytes Uploaded." The numbers will change dynamically during this phase.
5. Finalizing the Upload
If the USB Memory screen reappears after the upload, press 'ESC'.
Once the Home Screen (displaying manual controls and RPM) appears, it is safe to remove the USB stick.
Warning: Do not remove the USB drive while the "Boot Loader" screens are active or while software numbers are changing.
