Summary:
The TANCO S100-A and S200-V machines do not have a controller setting for using 500mm stretch film. However, on the S100, it is possible to manually adjust a hydraulic valve to accommodate 500mm film and achieve proper overlap.
S100 Machines:
While there is no controller setting for 500mm film, it is possible to adjust the roller speed manually by modifying a hydraulic valve.
This adjustment affects how much overlap is applied during wrapping.
How to Adjust:
Locate the hydraulic valve shown in the reference image (not included in this article).
Turn the knob on the valve anticlockwise to reduce roller speed.
Perform manual testing to determine the correct setting that results in approximately 50% overlap using 500mm film.
Important Notes:
This method is not convenient if switching frequently between 750mm and 500mm film, as it requires manual readjustment each time.
It is a suitable solution only if the machine will consistently use 500mm film.
Note:
S200-V Model:
There is no controller setting or manual method available to adjust for 500mm film use.
500mm film use is not supported on S200 models.
