To diagnose the fault of why the wrap arms do not remain in the open/unfold position during wrapping, follow these steps:

Step 1.

Fold / close and unfold / open the wrap arm several times to clear any contamination that may be in the valve.

Step 2.

Connect the Pressure Gauge to the unfold cylinder and ensure:

 Folded / Closed

Unfolded / Open

S200-V

40 Bar70 Bar

S300-V

55 Bar85 Bar

Check pressures again after a number of wrapping cycles, if the pressure has again dropped the seals will likely need to be replaced (P/N ...)

Folding Ram (1518170)

Seal Kit - 1518170 [<PR-004] = TSK00001 (Seal Kit) + CHY00041 (Piston Head)

Before Ram Version PR-004 (ie. PR-003 & PR-002..) both parts are required.

Seal Kit - 1518170 [PR-004] = TSK00001

Rams with PR-004 notched into the cylinder ONLY TSK00001 required.

Step 3.

If the pressure in the folding valve is holding, then there are two valves that keep the wrapping arms out in the working position.
The picture below show where these valves are located on the block.

a. Valve no. 19 is adjustable, try increasing the setting of this by adjusting the screw clockwise.
b. If this does not solve the problem, unscrew valve no. 18 and see if there is any contamination in it.
